Thai Papaya Salad Recipe Recipe
lettuce leaves (use many colors and textures if possible)
2 papaya fruits, sliced
250 g cherry tomatoes, cut in half
200-300 g boiled shrimp
a garlic clove, crushed
two very hot peppers, finely chopped
60 ml fresh lime juice
30 ml Thai fish sauce
30 ml white wine vinegar
15 g caster sugar
15 ml soy sauce
45 g roasted peanuts
1. Place the lettuce leaves on a platter. Mix the papaya fruit, cherry tomatoes, prawns, garlic and chilli in a bowl.
2. Combine the lime juice, fish sauce, vinegar, sugar and soy sauce and stir well until the sugar dissolves. Pour over the salad ingredients and mix until well combined. Sprinkle with peanuts on top and serve.
